My family and I were shopping at Toys R Us today (Tanner's first
b'day is just a little over a month away!) and at the checkout
stand the cashier called his manager to say that the people he just
checked out wanted to complain that there was a lady BREASTFEEDING
IN THE STORE! I looked but didn't see her at first. My wife
became perturbed and asked him did he just say what she thought he
had said. He confirmed it. She then asked him, "And they have a
problem with this?" The cashier said, "I guess. I can't blame
them." Jennifer then said, "you have a problem with that?" He
said, "well you don't see it everyday." Jennifer was very upfront
and told him, "Yes I do! I'm breastfeeding him (pointing to
Tanner)!" The guy was flabbergasted. Jennifer then turned to
Tanner and said, "I'm glad you're not hungry!" I watched for the
woman, and saw her. She was walking around the store
breastfeeding. What a terrible sight!! You couldn't see anything,
but you knew what she was DOING!! I hung around to make sure the
manager did not try to say anything to her. Luckily, the manager
did not take any action.

I just bet that that young cashier will tell his friends about
this, and he probably say something like, "..and that baby must
have been about a year old!"

We laughed about it in the car. Just thought you lactnetters would
appreciate the story!
