Dear Ann:
Biotics Research makes "Bio-D-mulsion": just one drop in the baby's mouth
provides 400 IU of vitamin D, and it is inexpensive. Usually you can order
on line, but at the moment that option is not functioning. Here is their web
site: http://www.bioticsresearch.com/Products/Bio-D-Mulsion.htm

Carlson labs is a resource for Vit D for mothers-2000 IU. Look for research
that will be published by Dr. Carol Wagner.Per a talk given by Dr. Carol
Wagner there were no toxic effects at this dose. Women don't get enough Vit
D during pregnancy, and the infant's stores are soon gone. Pregnant women
should all be tested for their levels of VIt D as part of their prenatal
screening.

I hope that this helps.
