Dear Margery - You are right. The oral surgeon who did the consult on her mouth suggested doing
a workup for autoimmune diseases including HIV. By the way for anybody who might have got the
impression that we are whizzing this mother around the hospital...scaring her to death..(Which
when I read my letter ...it sounded like this to me), she is being supported and "mothered"
through this. She is now on Dacterin oral gel. Today she is extemel;y engorged and getting
relief fromn cabbage...they cook right  up on her. She cannot express.....her nipples have
vanished. The Doctors have meanwhile advised her to wait until the results are in before she
BF's. The first results from her culture are small amounts (colonies) of staph....I am my way to
a wedding and must be bananas sitting here reading the Lactnet. You people are wonderful.
