Again, I apologize to anyone who was offended by any of my comments.  I
*always* try to provide information based on the current state of
scientific research, with the goal of educating and informing so that
people can make informed choices.  I *never* deliberately try to insult
people or disparage their credentials, nor are my remarks ever *intended*
to be personal attacks, either on people I know or people I do not know,
whether they are taken that way by readers or not.  I am a nice person.
LactNet is not the place for discussion of certain topics, and I apologize
to the list mothers for overstepping their clearly-stated boundaries.  I
was inundated with requests for explanations of my remarks, and after
sending out a number of individual replies, I chose the easy way out, which
was to post the explanation to LactNet.  I have been chastised, and I
promise not to do it again.
