The question of adequate lighting has been raised.  I suppose it can
be less than ideal if you have the old style separate rooms for
delivery and post-partum.  However, if the rooms are LDRP, then
there must be a light strong enough to use for the initial baby exam
after delivery.  How about even using the lights that are there for
delivery?  While initially the docs were putting the babies under
the exam light, I note more and more will use the general lighting
for the exam and only use the stronger light if there is something
they note that needs further, more detailed examination.
