Is there anyone out in our group who has a good grasp of what the new HIPAA
regulations are?
I read an article in today's Boston Globe discussing concerns physicians have
with these new regulations. Concerns included; how documentation is done and
stored, what information can be shared with other health care colleagues, and
obtaining information for research.
I think of our own practices how we brainstorm problems and even if we state
we have the permission of the mother to post this is this in a written signed
form that we keep in a safe place?
Just wondering and looking for what others know.
