information is the national conference "WIC:  Nourishing Our Future"
which will be held in December 1996.  Registrations are still being

Lawrence Gartner, Kittie Fratnz, Minda Lazarof, Dr. Ruth Lawrence,

Subject:       WIC Breastfeeding Coordinators

I have been receiving Lactnet for quite some time now, but have only
been scanning digests and lurking for awhile because of an overload of
email digests (TLC and GS).
However, I have recently been appointed Breastfeeding Coordinator at our
local WIC office.  I have many questions and realize this is my best
resource as there are at least a few other WIC BC's online.
I would like to know what you all have in place at your WIC offices and
how it is working.  I'm really not sure where to begin.  It is nice for
me to be in this position as I am also a LLL Leader and its time these
two organizations work cooperatively for the same goal--Healthy babies.
