totally, completely, correct! my older son, by 3 years of age, could get
past every childproofing device known to womonkind! i swear i called poison
control so many times i was scared they'd turn me in to child protective
services or something...and it wasn't for lack of trying. he once woke up at
3am, snuck out of his room and ate an entire 6-1/2 oz tube of fluoride
toothpaste. that poison control story is probably my funniest, but totally
off-topic here. :)

anyway, at 3yo he drank a whole bottle of pediacare suspension and slept
like a rock for 14 hours, barely rouseable. comparatively, a few months
earlier he ate an entire bottle of homeopathic chamomile and also one of
homeopathic arnica with no effect whatsoever except a little diarrhea,
probably from all the lactose...he wasn't used to any sort of dairy
products.
