The Netherlands is one of those countries and this practice is used as a
''disadvantage to breastfeeding'' since ''AIM contains vit K, but human milk
does not"" (This is the official standpoint, "I" do know human milk does
contain vit K in -probably- sufficient amounts if good bf management is
practiced. There is no informed choice and parents who do not wish to give
their bf child the initial shot and the daily drops for 3 months are highly
critisized.
