Today was a great day............Worked with a mom at putting her baby to
breast. Baby was 24-25 weeks  at birth, is now about 7 weeks old and today
weighed 2 pounds 10 ounces. You should of seen her opening her mouth wide to
latch. Mom has been putting baby to "empty-breast nursing for about 3 days
now (started at a weight to 2-8).  It was wonderful to see this mom with her
little one (who we didn't think was going to make it for the first 1-2 weeks
!!!!!
Hurray for pro-breastfeeding neonatologists!!!
