I agree very much with what you have said. There is an awful lot of hype
about what is the "best" pump....most of that is just hype I am sure. Others
on Lactnet have noted that we don't have what have been designated by others
to be "hospital grade" pumps in Australia, if what is said by the reps is
true it's a wonder that we seem to manage quite OK.
It is a problem that many mothers think that milk is sucked out of the
breasts by a pump when the most important factor is the squirting out of the
milk by MER.  How many women damage themselves by trying to get more milk
out with increased suction.
