I have reviewed the archives and have permission to post.

I have read several posts regarding short tongues that mention the
possibility of the tongue growing. Has anyone worked with a mom and baby
through this to a resolution? That is, until the baby was able to
effectively latch and suckle?

How long did it take? I'd like to give mom some window of time to
potentially to see some improvement, if that is possible. Mom's pumping
like a champion but getting discouraged thinking her baby may never nurse at
the breast.

Someone has told her that the tongue would obviously grow but not
significantly to effect the breastfeeding in the first year.

One post mentioned 4 to 6 weeks. Is that time frame reasonable in practice?
