It does not sound as if the contents of the book is questioned ,  Dr Meek.
it sounds as if the tainting is of the AAP and the motives of the AAP.
I had a friend when I was younger who was an aspiring model and was asked to
pose for Playboy magazine .   Before she accepted a contract she made sure
that she would never be photographed or depicted as not having her clothes
on in anything that would be published.  Her lawyer helped her with the
contract.  Every photograph of her showed her fully clothed.
Knowing the AAP and it's history~ remember AAP does not do research on it's
on ~ rather it uses the research available for it's statements ~it seems
prudent that anyone doing business with AAP should have a good contract.
What a fiasco !! You can see how such a thing can polarize the promoters of
good health to mothers and babies.   Was that a part of the intent !?
