Hi All!

After a brief stay in no-mail land, (and having recovered from an emotionally
draining Pop Warner Cheerleading season) - I'm back with all of you. Feels
good. :-)

I've got two "doozies" of questions. I've found nothing in the archives and
all of my materials. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Mother #1 has a 10 week old nursling and is planning a scuba diving trip in
December. Her question is: Will the higher levels of nitrogen in her blood
(post-dive) in any way adversely affect her baby (as in through the
breastmilk)? She was wondering also if any research has been done on this
issue.

Mother #2 has many health problems (but none told directly) and her
acupuncturist thinks removing her mercury fillings will be beneficial. She
wants to know if she can do this without posing any harm to her nursling (no
age given - but she says she will breastfeed "a few more years")

The vagarities I've mentioned are because I'm answering these as posed off a
web site. When I answer these web based questions, while I offer further
assistance, I generally direct them to local sources for more complete
assistance.

I don't write them ladies and gentlemen, I just answer them!!! :-)

Since I'm back on this list, you may post responses to the list or privately.
 TIA!

Warmly,
Sheila Angalet
