Is there research evidence that shows that a woman's cholesterol is
evelated when she is breastfeeding? In my case, my numbers were lower when
I was breastfeeding and I have had clients say the same.

It is my suspicion that there are other factors in this case and
breastfeeding is the only variable that this doctor sees. If it is found
that most women have higher cholesterol levels when they are breastfeeding,
then it is the *normal* pattern. Because, you know, breastfeeding is normal
for a woman who has given birth.

In your case, the cause of her elevated cholesterol levels should have been
explored before she was pregnant and the cause addressed instead of just
treating the symptoms with drugs.
