Anne, If you do a net search on inactivation of HIV in breastmilk you'll 
come up with a stack of hits....like this one.

and if you search google scholar you'll end up with a heap more.
There are certainly a number of choices of ways of inactivating including a 
few different ways of pasteurisation.
Good on this mum for looking at all her options and good on you for helping 
her.

HI  All
Need help urgently .Mother wishing to give breastmilk who is HIV +ve.WHO
recommends that women in developed countries DONT breastfeed.Can we
treat the milk at home easily-boiling?Anyone have any experience/ideas?Would
have to be evidence based.
