Jan Barger used to be the IBCLC who worked with JCAHO on breastfeeding 
issues, but I don't believe she does this anymore. Is there an IBCLC who has a 
connection to JCAHO?
We are interested to see if JCAHO has any guidelines for breastfeeding or 
breast milk storage, warming, etc? 
How many have had JCAHO come to their facilities in the past year, and how 
many have had them show an interest in breastfeeding policies?
We would love to know. The last few times they have come to our hospital, 
they have not visited the lactation center nor have they had any questions 
about our practices.
