You might also check with individual tribes. I know the Navajo nation is
extremely supportive of bfg and does lots of promotion, including calendars.
Also, one the IBLC exam board members is a native American and her brother
has taken an absolutely beautiful picture of her nursing baby #3, she's more
than willing to share that picture. E-mail me and I'll pass on her phone
number, she's not on e-mail. Here in New Mexico, balloon capital of the
world and it's balloon fiesta this week, we have approximately 25 different
tribes and most of them are working hard in breastfeeding promotion.. I
have spoken as a pump rental station, a LLL Leader, and an IBCLC for several
tribes and have helped in training their lactation educators. While we
always tip toe carefully around tribal traditions, remember, most are
exposed to everything in the media that we are, and are wanting the best for
their babies too. I work with many native Americans, blacks, Hispanics,
teens, Mexican illegals, and whites, I treat everyone with respect and I
think that's the simplest thing to do.

Jacie in the great American Southwest, stuck between Texas and Arizona,
north of Mexico and south of Colorado, in a city with over 800 hot air
balloonist this week, don't plan to go out to eat!
