I know of a product that allows hands-free pumping with *any* double pump with
hard-sided breast flanges. I have no financial interest in the this product. I had a
couple of mothers try product samples of it when I was in private practice, and they
seemed to like it.

It is called "Hands Free with TLC." It is an elastic band that fits around the
mother's chest with button holes for the pump flanges to "button" into. It can be
worn with any bra or without a bra. I found it easily when I did an internet search
on Google. The front middle panel of the band is velcro, so the mother can adjust the
space between the button holes, unlike the bar you referred to, Phyllis.

Regarding that pump, it was frustrating to work with mothers who bought it (and it was
not cheap) only to find that the bar was not the same width as the space between their
breasts and that they could only single pump with it.

Even without a special product, however, most mothers can easily pump with a double
collection kit one-handed. Anyone wanting specific information on how to do this
(Pam?), e-mail me privately and I'll be glad to share my strategy. I walk mothers
through this over the phone on a regular basis.

Hope this helps,
