this is a personal question.....

Tonigth my niece Isa was born. Everything was fine, pregnancy, etc, until the
birth. The baby didn't breath due to meconium in her lungs. she is getting
oxygen , antibiotics, etc .

I know this is a serieus condition and there is a serieus change she may die.
Now i heard the docters will give her 'certain proteins that will help to
recover (and ripe?) the lungs'.

she is not pumping yet. i'll try to encourage her to start pumping ASAP. So,
I'm looking for extra arguments (next to the normal arguments...), to encourage
her.

my question: is there any extras in breastmilk that will help this baby with
this special condition? The lung-riping component in colostrum? other
components?

TIA!
