I am looking for information about nutritional supplements
specifically for babies with Down Syndrome. I am particularly
interested in whether human milk contains enough alpha-ketoglutaric
acid (I just assumed it did!) and a product called NuTriVene-D.

I understand, from a mother I am helping, that a recent article in
Mothering Magazine stated that babies with Down Syndrome do not have
any (???) alpha-ketoglutaric acid, an amino acid. I have not yet
been able to read the article myself.

Please email me privately as well as to the list if you have any
information about this. I have already done all the usual web
searches.

warmly, norma
