If the spider bite is oozing, it may be a brown recluse. It will continue to spread, destroying the tissue around the bite. 
We have these in eastern NC, and it has to be cut away. I have seen several of these, including my daughter who was bitten at age 12 and by the time she came home from camp (the camp nurse thought it was impetigo from scratching a mosquito bite), it was the size of an egg, and had to be surgically removedwith a cut of about 3 inches wide.
I have never heard that a brown recluse bite is contraindicated in breastfeeding.
