Kathy Leeper writes about a preg. woman with cancerous breast lesion. I had
a client (pictured in The Breastfeeding Atlas) who was dx with breast cancer
and got preg. during the radiation therapy. She completed the radiation,
carried to term, and breastfed for 5.5. mo until cancer markers in her blood
suggested she needed to wean for additional tx. Her cancer, when dx, was
already in her nodes. This was 4-3 yrs ago. Her cancer has spread to her
lungs, and she struggles.
