First of all, thanks to all of you who offered supportive comments.
It's great to know LN is a place to go when you need your batteries
recharged-for those days when the negative experiences seem to
outnumber the positive ones (if only in our perception).

Secondly-I in no way intended to make my post a bashing of all men.
Heaven knows I'm married to a great one myself.  Ishould have chosen
a more "neutral" subject title.

Lastly, and most importantly-Yes, I did talk to our social worker (a
wonderful resource and very pro breastfeeding although she has no
children herself).  I passed on what had happened and she was
thankful for the input as she had only observed positive interaction
between the 18 yr old mom and her husband.  She will follow up on
it.  I think I didn't mention in my relating of the incident that
one of Mom's comments out of his hearing was "He really likes to be
in control of everything"!!!  This was definitely a case of
"flashing yellow lights" warning of potential for other problems.
