We use LATCH here and the bottom line is - if you didn't watch the mom nurse the baby, it's a lot easier to just say "well" or "fair" etc. (Sort of like WNL means We Never Looked.) I always say the problem with this scoring system is that a chair could get a 4. That may not be true but a non-breastfeeding mom could get a 4 (comfortable, did it herself).  Maybe you could bring in some funny things, cartoons, pix, baby dolls....some pix of sore nipples. I always think that the two things that matter most in this scoring system are the audible swallowing and the condition of the nipples, since they tell you pretty much how everything else is going. I'll be interested to see what you come up with!
