Dear Lactnet Friends:

I don't remember when in the middle 90s I first posted on Lactnet.

I remember feeling shy about it, and spending time writing, editing and
rewriting my first posts.

Lactnet has given me much: contact with leaders in the field, some speaking
engagements through people liking what I said (NOT soliciting), and some
intense discussions. It has given me updates and notice of new articles
and most importantly, different points of view and challenges to my own
practice, all valuable in the context of loving professionalism and our
desire to make the world better for parents and babies, birth and
breastfeeding.

You did an amazing thing Kathleen Bruce, and colleagues!!

I am grateful.

warmly,

--
