mom was told by urologist to pump and dump while she takes her Bactrim for
her UTI ( she's allergic to Macrodantin)  and while she has her IVP this
tuesday.....what can I tell her about the IVP and what dyes should should
she worry about? her friend had to P & D for 10 days after her
IVP........... I thought radio opaque dye was not radioactive? so what is
the big deal?

I'd really like to inform this urologist for future use if there is good
info available?
