I was lucky- 14 mos and 17 mos (to the day!) of LAM
with my girls. But- any possibility of an accidental
pregnancy was too much for us so we always, always use
contraception.

I espouse total darkness while I sleep in order to
ensure that I get my nightly melatonin peak to supress
an estrogen increase. My husband *hates* the fact
that I refuse to have any nightlights while I'm
ammenorheic since the dog needs to go in and out, in
and out every night. :-)

WRT alcohol use- *sigh*, seems like I keep hearing
that lately too. I tell people that if the mom were
legally drunk, her alcohol level would be .08% in her
milk. If you take a glass of milk and add that much
vodka to it, would you taste it? Would it affect you?
No, but you'd be dropping the baby before you got to
that point. Very few moms are out getting that drunk
and nursing their baby- I hope.
