Beth:

my first reaction is DO NOTHING! but iam not there and i am not the child
or the mother... my reaction stems from a primary concern anytime a knife is
applied to a human body....

with an attitude from the md that she will never lactate i would be
certian that he will not be careful in his work to maintain nerve pathway and
ductal structure.

if there is a need to "do something" then the best course may be to
enlarge the breast with no growth only.

there is so much we do not know... i would want to give the breast as
much opportunity for growth as possible without impeding its progress. we do
not know what poliferation will occur with pregnancy on either side....

i will be most interested in hearing from the rest of our group.....
