Joyce:

   Ths mother and baby need to be seen and evaluated... If  you can refer her
to an lc with whom you have a working relationship you can discuss your
concerns re this syndrome....I am not sure that the physician would be
accepting of a phone call from you or your friend unless you know this
physician in which case you might be able to call and share your concern....
