That's the key to something being wrong, IMHO - you don't say the
weight has faltered, or that there are any other clinical signs of
insufficient milk, and on their own, a smaller yield on expressing
and shorter times at the breast mean nothing. But a baby who was
happy on the breast and who is now not happy - that's significant.

In the absence of any other signs (such as poor attachment, faltering
weight gain, frustration at the breast, tongue tie), it could be
normal but yes, I agree it is worth investigating and shouldn't be
thought of as 'prima facie' normal. But if everything else *is* ok,
my experience is that it could be normal.
