I am writing to let you know that our President, Gody Weniger, has left
Medela, Inc., and that Urs Tanner, CEO of the Medela Group, will manage the
company onsite until a new president is in place. As many of you may have
had personal dealings with Gody we felt this forum was the best place for
this announcement.

We thank Gody for his years of service to Medela and for his devotion to
breastfeeding.  You can be assured that Gody's departure does not in any
way affect our day-to-day operations or corporate commitments.  A number of
dedicated employees have shared the vision of making Medela, Inc. the
company it is today, and we have a team of managers and sales
representatives  in place who are instrumental to its continued success.

We ask that you continue to work with Medela as you have in the past.  Your
contacts within the company remain the same, as do our products and
services.

spirit has set the industry standard for innovation for more than 30 years.
 Today, we have subsidiaries in Sweden, France, Germany, Japan, Canada, the

Such success would not be possible without our loyal customers, so our No.
1 priority will continue to be to provide you with the most innovative,
effective, and economical products in the breastfeeding field.  Nothing
will ever change that.

You may rest assured that Medela will forever be a leading champion of
breastfeeding and will continue to be an active participant in the global
breastfeeding network.  We are proud to stand by our pledge and dedication
to breastfeeding as the best nutrition for babies and infants.  We will
never allow our products or accessories to be used to promote formula or to
influence mothers to switch from breastfeeding to formula.  We will always
remain a family business led by the Larsson family.
