Dear Friends:

I second Jeannette's comment about being a better LC when exposed to a
different paradigm of infant feeding. I finally felt like a LC after
attending a 2-day Wolf and GLass workshop; the occupational therapist's
approach to infant feeding filled in many gaps in my understanding. And now
this NCAST training has added more information.

If LCs learn about infant feeding only from other LCs, our vision is not as
broad as it should be. Learning from other disciplines increased my
observation skills to pick up subtleties otherwise ignored or dismissed.

warmly,

Nikki Lee RN, BSN, MS, IBCLC, CCE, CIMI
