Hello,
In regard to the National Breastfeeding Awareness Campaign that will be taking place in the US, I've read that advertising will take place through public service announcements on radio/tv and newspaper articles in community newspapers. My question regards how widely distributed those will be? Will they be widely placed by HHS? I've read that they are looking for coalitions to help disseminate the information to local media sources but what if there are no local coaltions (I tried to get one going, didn't succeed-when I mentioned the "risks of formula" they just weren't not prepared to go there). Is there anything an individual can do to bring this info to an area? I live in a rural area of Nebraska and we sorely need some breastfeeding awareness out here. Thank you.
