Behind in my reading, so you may have already gottne a similar message.
First of all, unless you have been totally out of the loop and have not
been to any conferences, workshops etc; never read Lactnet, never talked
with another LC, or never read anything since you first took the
exam-you should do OK. 85-88% should put you in good stead.
As I took the exam, I keep 3 tallies. One for the number of questions
where I was quite certain of the answer, another how many I was able to
narrow down to one of 2 answers and last, those where I had no clue and
my answer was a stab in the dark. I took 100% of the first group, 50%
of the second group and 25% of the third group (I believe there were 4
choices in most if not all questions). I used that total against the
total number of questions to estimate my test score. My estimation
turned out to be 5% UNDER my actual score. The number I did estimate
was enough to assure me that I had passed. I still waited with a little
trepidation, but for me, this system gave me reassurance while waiting
for the actual result.
Good luck. My strongest advice is to stop cramming for the exam by
Friday or Saturday at the latest. Last minute cramming makes you more
nervous-you need your rest more.

Winnie
