As much as I agree with Kathleen's comments about Breastbottle's
description, I am intrigued by the product. I looked up the
testimonials that they say are from lactation and medical experts, but
there were no IBCLCs among them. We all know there is no replacement
for the breast, but, some mothers have to work and some mothers/infants
have situations (like illnesses and non BF friendly hospital policies)
that prevent 100% of nourishment direct from the breast. If this could
be a tool (w/EBM of course!) to help get babies back to the breast or
keep breastfeeding longer through any separations... it would be great.
I agree, I'd like to see some research but I'd start with some anecdotal
use by any lactation experts. Has anyone used it?
