Kathy,
  It may be that giving human milk to adults will help prevent cancer,
diabetes, etc. but as far as I know there is not any research on the
topic. When the question is framed that way, it would be a very
difficult thing to demonstrate through research. You would need a very
large sample of people all given more or less the same amount of human
milk at the same time or age or whatever parameters you need in order
to be able to say anything statistically meaningful. Research on adult
uses of human milk is really in its infancy (no pun  intended) and as
far as I know they are looking at giving human milk to people who
already have cancer or some other serious condition. Even that research
is just beginning.
Does anyone else have any references on this topic?
