Maureen Minchin's book "Milk Matters" 2015. It is enormous, called Book 1, 2, 3, so I took it to Philadelphia and had it cut into 3 reasonable size books (I like to read in bed). It reads like having a conversation with her with probably a thousand or so references!
From the first book I learned that formula feeding over the generations (now 3 & 4 gens) has changed our A & P. She believes it is the cause of current epidemics in autoimmune disease, allergies and autism. In book 2 she digs into the history of artificial feeding of infants and how it affects our brains and immune system to be given any of the variety of commercial formulas.
It is impressive. Human milk for human babies will never be replaced and formula will only continue to damage millions of babies...... Pat in SNJ
