Advertisement for Executive Director of IBLCE

The International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) is seeking
an accomplished, dedicated, energetic executive director to lead the
organization in fulfilling its mission to foster the provision of quality
care for breastfeeding women and children who breastfeed worldwide by
awarding an independent, internationally recognized certification to
individuals who demonstrate their competence to practice as an International
Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

The person in this key leadership position will need excellent interpersonal
skills, have a well-developed cross-cultural and global outlook, and be able
to strategically and financially manage the organization's direction in
response to a changing environment as directed by the Board of Directors.
Current strategic directions include building effective relationships in the
lactation community, expanding the credential to meet current and future
needs and maintaining the integrity of the exam throughout the world.
