Okay, maybe many of you (especially in Oz) have been doing this right along,
but I've had just 2 experiences with moms opening a bleb with a sterile
needle. The first was a mom who'd worked long and hard to budge a massive
stubborn plug, without success. She used a sterile needle to prick the skin
(not to probe, mind you, just to break the surface, entering from the side),
and "the floodgates opened."

My second experience was a mom I saw this morning. Quite a lump of stubborn
milk, actually visible in profile. I gave her my compiled lactnet "bleb
sheet" and told her about the success this first mother had had. Just got a
phone call. Sure enough, she used a needle and "the floodgates opened."

I'm moving the sterile needle approach to almost the head of my list, at
least for now.
