Subject: Lansinoh and code breakers exhibiting

Hi all,
I certainly don't have all the answers, but this is what is called "GREY
AREAS" . I don't think any ONE person has all the answers and I think it is
up to those who make these decisions to be able to live with their
decisions. There are Boards of Directors who usually create and enhance
policy of organizations, and it is probably their responsibility to make
these most difficult decisions. Don't forget that not all Boards will agree
unanimously (necessarily) although that might happen, but I know from our
own experience in La Leche League, decisions of this type are made according
to concensus. (any dealings with Lansinoh are residue from a long binding
contract which commits us legally to have certain agreements with them, but
this faulty contract will end too someday.) I think everyone has to do what
they believe is ethically correct. Again, that may differ from organization
to organization, from Lawyer to lawyer, from IBCLC to IBCLC.
