As a result of the AAP Breastfeeding statement: I have been asked to come up
with a one sheet UNBIASED handout to be given to mothers prior to their
confirm appointment (they come to an early pregnancy class before the first OB
visit) regarding informed consent and feeding methods. Now by unbiased my
boss means she wants me avoid *that guilt thing* as best as I possibly can. I
am to make sure that a) it will be accepted by all our OB and Ped providers b)
won't alienate any of the moms and c) is factual.
I have a few ideas but I am having a hard time limiting it to front and back
of an 8.5 by 11 inch piece of paper. (Without going to the smallest print
size I can find) There is so much to say that I need help with cutting it down
to absolutes.
Any suggestions for what HAS to be mentioned?
