Dear Friends:
I got a large colorful postcard in the mail advertising breastfeeding
courses at a large university in Southern California. Now we can add CLEC
(certified lactation educator counselor) to the alphabet soup pf CLC, CLE,
NMC, IBCLC, LLL, CBE, CBC and lord knows what else.

So bring on the IBLCE's new credential. Let the public be completely and
thoroughly confused about professional breastfeeding helpers. The more the
merrier. Goes along with a 75% cesarean section rate.
