Having bottle fed a couple of my children for some time I've got to say that
one of the things that I found quite difficult was not having a hand free to
stroke them while I bottle fed. If you're holding the child with one arm
and bottle feeding with the other hand there is no free hand. It's one of
the real problems of using a bottle.

Subject: baby-feeds-himself bottle product :( :(

I note the manufacturers say the advantage of
this 'system' is that it is hands-free and
therefore allows you to caress your baby during
feeding (????? why not just hold him and the
bottle? Look at the *weird* picture they have
illustrating this. ). But the parent testimonials
are all of how great it is to have a feeding
system that allows the mother to *not* hold the
baby.
