I work in a hospital that is currently on the path to Baby Friendly!  Very excited!  Anyhoo...lots of different teachings being done by ALL of us on how long and how often a term healthy babe should eat.  Of course, EBM states as long and as often as they want, as long as they are getting 8-10 (and have seen 8-12) feeds in during 24 hours period.  The staff RNs all want more guidelines...as the new parents want more guidelines!!  Wanting to avoid not teaching evidenced based medicine...WHAT are other hospitals saying!?  Thanks for everyone's anticipated input!!  Privately or via lacnet is much appreciated!  Kerry
