Henya - you are not alone in your frustration.  Last night I talked to a mom
who told me she was induced at 39 wks.  The reason?  She births FAST.
Virtually No labor pains to speak of until suddenly a LOT of pain and the
baby in less than 3 minutes.  This happened with each of her children.  So
her Dr convinced her to induce labor at 39 wks at the hosp because he didn't
want her to give birth in the car on the way there or at home...dumbest
reason I have ever heard.  I suggested, gently, that perhaps next time she
should just have the baby at home...
