In fact, Kathy D., the state's case in the trial, as far as I could tell had
nothing to do with suffering.  It rested almost entirely on increased
mortality.

I realize the law does not consider an abortion as killing an individual,
but if we compare the mortality, or perhaps put another way: is there an
individual there at 18 years of age.  The answer with abortion is 100% no.
The answer with breastfeeding when HIV+ is 70% of the individuals will exist
at 18 years of age.
