Probiotics for the breastfed baby does not seem necessary at all since they are already getting all they need. However, is it necessary for a mother to take probiotics if she was given IV antibiotics while in the hospital before and/or after delivery? Could you please forward whatever research articles you have on this subject? I am only finding conflicting articles and have not found any recent studies. Thank you so much for all your help!
