I absolutely concur with Jennifer about relactation this early in the
"game." It should not be terribly difficult IF you promote a multi-faceted
approach. Here is an outline of the one I use with patients and teach in
professional presentations (Note: this is only an excerpt and it is not
comprehensive, but it will give you an idea of what I mean by multifaceted):

IV. Actions:
  A. Proper positioning, latch, frequency, pumping & devices (sns, etc
  B. Breast compression & Breast Massage
  C. Skin to skin contact; Co-sleep, babywearing, Infant Massage
  D. Dietary Factors, Protein & fluid intake requirements; Dietary
Supplements for mom (herbs?) necessary for relactation success
    1-Fenugreek, Blessed Thistle, Goats Rue=supply
    2-Hops, Passionflower, Chamiomille=MER enhancement
3-Herbs for iron def anemia (in cases of hemorrhage): alfalfa,
dandelion, use citrus to chelate iron in diet, cook high acid foods
        in cast iron pots
E. Medicinal Approaches
     1. Domperidone
     2. Reglan
     3. Homeopathics: especially for MER
     4. Synocinon
F. Relaxation Techniques: Music, Guided Imagery, Aromatherapy, Color
V. Educate parents on what to expect
   A. Provide a detailed & comprehensive care plan for getting baby back to
the breast and decreasing amt. formula
    B. Follow-up & Feedback:

-- If you need more assistance, let me know. Also, there is a great WHO
paper on relactation.
