I would check to see if she is favoring the left side a bit more than
the right side. This happened to me and was a huge concern, until I read
a little on www.kellymom.com about favoring one side over the other,
even if it is just a few extra times during the day; I hadn't really
even noticed the discrepancy. I could still hand express a few drops of
milk on the left side, but the breast was soft and there was no feeling
of MER. I took fenugreek and the left side became engorged (!) with
little effect on the other side. I simply paid a bit more attention to
the right side and things were fine within 24 hours. I would consider
this first.
